Obituary
Elaine Mae Rezac, the daughter of Fred and Lydia (Schmidt) Swan was born June 19, 1927, in Woden, Iowa. Elaine passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2019, at the Good Samaritan Society in rural Estherville, Iowa, at the age of 92.
She received her education and graduated from Gruver High School. Elaine later attended Mankato State College for secretarial education.
On June 23, 1946, she was united in marriage to Robert Rezac. After their marriage, the couple farmed and raised their family in rural Dolliver. Elaine enjoyed fishing, embroidery, crafts and especially spending time with her family. Robert died in 2012.
She was a member of the Dolliver Methodist Church and the Chatter Club.
Left to cherish Elaine's memory are her children, Marcia Schmidt and her husband, Gary of Kaukauna, Wisconsin; Robert Rezac and his wife, Mary of Chaska, Minnesota; Pamela Biehn of Lakeville, Minnesota; Phyllis Schutjer and her husband, Bruce of Woden, Iowa; Roger Rezac and his wife, Joan of Dolliver; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; sisters, Donna Hurney and her husband, Jim of Brookings, South Dakota; Evelyn Schauberger of Holmen, Wisconsin; and Mary Anderson and her husband, Terry of Utah.
Preceding Elaine in death are her parents; husband, Robert; son, Ronald; granddaughter, Brandee; great-grandson Isaiah; brother, Earl and two sisters, Dorothy and Leta.
